Cynthia Hurst and Chris Lichty from Pulaski County Extension Office had a great virtual 2021 4-H Embryology Lesson today with two third and three fifth grade classrooms along with two 4-H families. In today's lesson we learned 'How long it takes for a hen to lay an egg' and also 'The Parts of an Egg.' We finished our lesson with candling the eggs in the Extension Office Incubators, teachers in their classrooms and 4-H'ers in their homes. Enjoy the video clip of a fertile egg from one of the Extension Office Incubators. Notice the blood vessels in this egg and the chick moving. | Virginia Cooperative Extension- Pulaski County
