Downtown Community Outreach Response u0026 Engagement (CORE) Team The Downtown CORE Team is a pilot program by Toronto Public Health (TPH) and Toronto Police Service (TPS) supporting vulnerable residents in the Yonge and Dundas area (Sankofa Square). The team provides on-the-ground support for individuals with complex health needs, including mental health, substance use, and housing challenges, improving access to health and social services. The Downtown CORE Team is not an emergency crisis service and cannot be reached via 911 or 211.
