The United States and European Union effort to develop the Lobito Economic Corridor, which connects the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia and Angola, has been hailed as a major initiative that will transform the three countries’ economies. US officials say President Joe Biden’s administration has made a commitment of three hundred and sixty million dollars toward the project, the largest US investment in infrastructure development in Africa.
