Stink Rising’s Geej Ower began her career working in theatre. As such, her speciality is directing actors and non actors, getting surprising performances from both. Sensitive, beautiful, always moving and always human, Geej’s work often combines different artistic practises. She has worked regularly with the BBC and leading arts organisations such as the Hayward Gallery at The Southbank Centre, Headlong Theatre Company and West Yorkshire Playhouse, while her music videos have already earned her two UK MVA nominations, as well as the Music Video Award at Encounters Film Festival and Best Music Video at the London Independent Film Festival.
